Getting to the island
Great Keppel Island lies approximately 15km off the coast of Yeppoon, near Rockhampton in Central Queensland. Getting here is easy, with the option of a short ferry or flight. Upon arrival at Great Keppel Island, we will greet you in our white ute and collect your luggage.
The Lodge is a short walk from either Fishermans Beach or the Island runway.

Ferry
Freedom Fast Cats and Keppel Konnections operate a ferry transfer service to and from Great Keppel Island daily. The ferries depart from Rosslyn Bay Boat Harbour in Yeppoon and takes around 30 minutes to get to the island.

Plane
Peace Aviation operate an efficient air charter flight service to Great Keppel Island from Rockhampton Airport for very reasonable rates. The scenic flight to the island takes around 20 minutes and is a special and exciting way to get to the island.
