    3 Night Minimum Stay

    • For bookings made within 3 months of arrival, we require a minimum stay of 3 nights.
    • For bookings made more than 3 months in advance, a 5-night minimum stay applies.

    • Maximum occupancy: 17 guests.
    • Only paying guests are allowed on the property unless prior approval is granted by management.
    • Keppel Lodge is family accommodation and not a venue for parties or large group gatherings.

    Booking Policies

    • 60-day cancellation policy applies to all bookings.
    • A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking. Remaining balance is paid upon check-out.
    • Prices are in AUD and include GST.
    • Payment methods: EFT or Direct Deposit. No cash payments accepted.
    • Standard check-in time is 2:00PM. However, you may be able to check in prior with confirmation from management.
    • All guests must vacate the house by 10:00 AM on their departure date unless they have booked a late check-out (no later than 4 PM) for an additional $200, subject to availability. Late check-out is only available if arranged in advance and cannot be guaranteed without prior booking.
    • Stay 7 nights, pay for 6! (Applicable for up to 8 guests; additional guests charged at standard rates.)

    Peak Periods​

    • QLD School Holidays: Autumn, Spring, Summer (excludes Winter). Minimum 5-night stay.
    • Christmas & New Year: Summer school holiday period. Minimum 5-night stay.
    • Easter: Good Friday to Easter Monday. Minimum 5-night stay.
    • QLD Long Weekends: Friday to Monday minimum.

    Booking Terms & Conditions

    To secure the booking, a 50% deposit is required either by direct deposit or eftpos over the phone.

    CHECK-IN:

    Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM. Upon arrival, the credit card used to book as well as identification matching the person and name the room was booked under are required.

    CHECK-OUT:

    All guests must vacate the house by 10:00 AM on their date of departure. Departure after this time may incur additional charges.

    NON-SMOKING POLICY:

    In accordance with Australian law, our property has a strict non-smoking policy. Smoking is prohibited anywhere on our premises. If you choose to ignore this policy there may be a minimum $200 charge, plus additional costs associated with restoring the room to its original condition.

    PERSONAL ITEMS:

    We do not take responsibility for any loss, damage or destruction to any personal property brought onto these premises. Personal property includes any personal effects and motor vehicles.

    You acknowledge that unless we come to an alternative arrangement with you, any credit card you have provided prior to or during your stay will be charged for all accommodation, cancellation, non-arrival or incidental charges relating to your stay, even if that amount is higher than the amount that may have been pre-authorised on that card or higher than the amount reflected on your original booking. 

    You agree to voluntarily vacate the property on the day of departure or at the request of Management if earlier than reflected on your original booking.

    PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

    PAYMENT:

    All bookings require a valid credit card guarantee at time of booking. A 50% deposit will be taken at time of booking and balance of will be taken upon arrival at the property or during pre-check-in on the day of arrival. Cash payments are not accepted. 

    MODIFICATION/CANCELLATION POLICY:

    Any booking modifications, including date changes and/or a full cancellation of your booking, must be made by 2pm, 60 days prior to your arrival date. 

    Any cancellations made within 60 days prior to arrival are strictly non-refundable. All changes are subject to availability and any applicable charges. If a date change is possible, the originally booked nightly rate may be subject to change and a higher rate may apply. All bookings made for stays during peak periods are strictly non-refundable.

    NO SHOW POLICY:

    Failure to arrive at the property on the booked arrival date will be treated as a no-show and the remainder of the booking will be cancelled.
